Employment History

Stingray Branding (10/14 to Present) — Design Debonair & Chief Creative Officer

Partnered with Alan Thompson to build a design and marketing company. Majority of focus is spent developing company brands, starting with a logo and brand standards as the key aspect. I start the process with a ‘Brand Concept Meeting’; I sit with the client and discuss their company, design styles, colors and typography, in order to create the best logo and brand identity for them. Once the brand developed I apply that across all materials needed: business cards, letterhead, print and digital marketing materials, social media designs and page development, and ultimately a website. I have developed in-depth proficiency in WordPress and the ability to custom code themes from scratch. Other duties include ongoing marketing support for companies to provide additional print and digital materials with a focused effort on continued brand development and design standards. In April 2017 I took on the role of Chief Creative Officer, in charge of over-seeing production process for projects and ensuring all needs are met in a timely manner and employees provide quality materials to clients. I continue to personally handle the majority of the design work while managing the team and providing clear instructions on design concepts and content for other work such as website updates and SEO.

Charleston Jewish Community Center (3/14 to 8/15) — Senior Graphic Designer & Webmaster

In charge of the design department for the community center. Created all marketing materials needed for any program including Camp Baker summer camp, the Swim Team, the Senior Center, and many cultural and community events. Designed many materials for both print and digital needs, such as email newsletters, brochures, flyers, social media marketing materials, posters, mailers, and more. Built and managed the website with an interactive event calendar, many pages and pictures of events, and program sections.

Rick Hendrick (12/13 to 3/14) — Area Marketing Director

Manager of marketing and advertising for four Rick Hendrick Dealerships in Charleston. In charge of dealership websites, social media posts, reputation management, and in house design work.

Rick Hendrick (11/12 to 11/13) — Business Development Center Representative

Marketing work in the Business Development Center at Rick Hendrick Dodge Chrysler Jeep. In charge of design and marketing for the service department of the dealership. Worked on coupon and poster design and advertising campaigns.

724Factory (9/11 to 2/12) — Webmaster & Interactive Developer

My time was split between design duties, usually graphic elements for websites and whole website layouts, and programming WordPress websites.
